The Epstein Files and the Biblical Future
![]() |
The Epstein Files and the massive stinking bomb it has become has got me thinking. Not along the lines of politics and ethics, but what it entails biblically.
I am no pastor nor theologian but I shall word simply some observations.
THE WARNING BY JESUS: VIOLENCE AND THE GATHERING OF NATIONS
Jesus described what would be happening on earth before His second coming. The signs of the end of this age include lawlessness abounding, the gospel of the Kingdom being preached and Jerusalem being surrounded by armies (Matthew 24:12-14; Luke 21:20).
Jerusalem would become a centre of conflict. The Epstein files and Jeffrey Epstein's links with MOSSAD and zionists have aggravated the undeniable and blatant accusations hurled at ISRAEL. All this at a time when the war crimes against the people in Gaza have already been in the limelight.
For specifics Jesus then compared those times to an earlier moment in history:
“As it was in the days of Noah, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:37)
How was it in the days of Noah?
Paul confirmed that before Christ’s return the world would have perilous times, filled with pleasure-seeking, materialism, immorality, violence, idleness and a rejection of the things of God (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
The very first world war? 1914.
It is often seen as a major break in human history. After it, violence became more global, more organised, and more destructive.
If we place this alongside the biblical idea of a long warning period, the comparison is not exact—but it is thought-provoking. More than a hundred years have passed since then, and conflict has remained a constant part of global life. We are in 2024. Already 10 years have passed since the hundredth year.
10 more years.
Then came the flood God promised.
So should we be preparing for a flood? Which led me to another symbolic referral.
Make yourself an ark of gopherwood…” (Genesis 6:14) .... “Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch,” said God (Genesis 6:14).
Gopher wood- the most elusive plant in botanical etymology but referred to just once in the Bible. No one knows exactly what it was. This lack of detail suggests that its meaning may not be purely technical.
So what are we looking at?
In the Middle East, the Ghaf tree is famous for surviving extreme heat and drought. It is often seen as a symbol of endurance. Its local name, Ghaf al-Barr, sounds similar to gopher, though there is no clear proof they are related. This tree, not only was traditionally used to build arks but also has been known to radiation resistant.
Interestingly, sulphur, brimstone—closely linked to the similar sounding Hebrew word gofrit— in the Bible, often appears in stories of judgment and cleansing. And is now known to help protect cells from radiation damage.
How?
Modern science shows that sulphur plays an important role in protecting the body. Sulphur-based compounds help reduce damage caused by radiation and harmful molecules in cells.
Sulphur does not block radiation like metal shielding does. Instead, it supports the body’s natural defence systems. One key antioxidant, glutathione, depends on sulphur to work properly.
From Water to Fire
The Flood ended the old world with water. Later biblical writings speak of the end of history using images of fire (2 Peter 3:6–7). Ezekiel and Revelation both include fire and sulphur in their descriptions.
Seen together, these images mark the beginning and end of the biblical story of human violence and judgment
These overlapping ideas—resilience, purification, and survival—stand out, and through it a world preparing for something catastrophic, the scale of the Great Flood or ...a nuclear one?
ALL THIS CONJECTURE, WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE?
Now all this conjecture is about the future, which may or may not be true. But what we do witness first hand is what Ezekiel describes.
Ezekiel 38–39 describes a future conflict led by Gog from the land of Magog. Genesis 10 lists Magog as a descendant of Japheth, connecting this prophecy back to Noah’s family.
Ancient writers like Josephus linked Magog to peoples north of Israel, such as the Scythians. Many modern scholars place Magog broadly in regions north of Israel, including parts of Anatolia and Eurasia.
Others point out that Ezekiel describes a group of many nations, not one country. This suggests Gog and Magog represent a large alliance rather than a single people. While modern scholars trace Magog to RUSSIA, and Gog as a powerful prince/leader. With the way things are right now, Putin seems just the candidate for it!
In the book of Revelation, Gog and Magog are described as coming from “the four corners of the earth.” Here, the names seem to stand for all nations that oppose ISRAEL at the end of history. Which sits just right how Putin is rallying pro Iran forces, North Korea and China in tow. Must note that either is perfect for the people that has been referred to as entering the conflict of the end times in the Revelations as 'the kingdom from far east'.
Now whether Gomer is Germany or Ukraine, whether Togarmah is Turkey, all aligns with the prophecy perfectly seeing the way things are going.
Looking Back at the Pattern
When viewed as a whole, a pattern appears:
Long periods of moral decline
Violence becoming normal
Nations becoming deeply connected
Warnings given long before consequences
The story of Noah, the spread of nations, and the prophecies about the end form one continuous narrative.
Rather than offering dates or predictions, these texts invite reflection. They encourage us to look at history, notice repeating patterns, and consider what they say about human choices and responsibility.
In that sense, the days of Noah are not only about the past or the future—but also about how history tends to repeat itself.
